Andre Drummond, center for the Detroit Pistons NBA basketball team, has recently been named Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Ambassador.

Special Olympics announced the news at Fisher Magnet Upper Academy on November 4th in Detroit. He had an amazing reception, at a pep rally with 400 children.
